InterCity travel network is New Zealand's largest national
coach and bus transportation network
operating in an association with InterCity Coachlines, Newmans
Coachlines and Great Sights with its premier coach services.
With the combined networks of
InterCity Coachlines, Great Sights and
Newmans Coachlines, you can travel to
more than 600 destinations and key tourist attractions nationwide, with
over 150 services daily, travelling on a fleet of modern coaches at
affordable fares, starting from NZ$1.00.
 InterCity
coaches do not have onboard toilet facility but InterCity services stop
regularly for comfort and refreshment breaks. Newmans Coachlines and
Great Sights use luxury, air-conditioned coaches with on board
toilet/washroom
facility.
InterCity Coachlines operates the Auckland, Hamilton, Rotorua, Taupo, Palmerston
North to Wellington Starlighter overnight bus service, that
connects with
Cook Strait ferry services operating
between Wellington and Picton.
InterCity Link provides regular bus services to smaller regional centres
in association with local bus operators.
With
InterCity Coachlines, Great Sights and
Newmans Coachlines integrated online
fares, seat availability and reservation system, you can make
reservations for all InterCity Coachlines, Great Sights and Newmans bus
and coach services through out New Zealand by using the InterCity Fare Finder.
All fares are NZ$/NZD.
When using the 'InterCity Fare Finder', Newmans Coachlines is
identified as 'NM', Great Sights is identified as 'GS',
Intercity Coachlines is identified as 'IC' and
Intercity Link is identified as 'IL'.
With a range of
'Hop On/Hop Off'
Flexi Coach Passes, you can travel at
your own pace on the InterCity Coachlines national network. All Flexi
Passes are sold in blocks of time which allows you to travel on regular
InterCity and Newmans bus journeys or on any Great Sights sightseeing
journeys or a mixture of both, in any direction as many times as your
hours allow. All Passes are valid for 12 months from date of issue. |
