InterCity Coachlines operates the largest national bus and coach network within New Zealand, transporting kiwis and international visitors around New Zealand for more than 30 years.

InterCity services travels to more than 600 destinations, with 150 daily services daily, using a fleet of modern eco-friendly buses and coaches nationwide, with a range of affordable fares starting from NZ$1.00.

InterCity Coachlines uses modern eco-friendly air-conditioned buses and coaches with reclining seats and foot rests but do not have onboard toilet/washroom facilities. All InterCity long distance passenger services do stop regularly for comfort and refreshment breaks.

InterCity Coachlines operates the Starlighter overnight bus service between Auckland, Hamilton, Rotorua, Taupo, Palmerston North and Wellington connecting with the Wellington/Picton ferry services to and from Wellington. The Starlighter service features reclining seats with foot rests, individual reading lights and air conditioning controls, onboard toilet/washroom facility and makes two refreshment/comfort stops on route.

With InterCity Coachlines integrated online fare, seat availability and reservation system allows you to search online for times, destinations, check seat availability and make reservations for all InterCity bus and coach services through out New Zealand by using the InterCity Fare Finder.

With a range of 'Hop On/Hop Off' Flexi Coach Passes, you can travel at your own pace on the InterCity Coachlines national network. All Flexi Coach Passes are sold in blocks of time which allows you to travel on regular InterCity and Newmans bus journeys or on any Great Sights sightseeing journeys or a mixture of both, in any direction as many times as your hours allow. All Passes are valid for 12 months from date of issue.

Now you can make a reservation to and from Auckland International Airport to any destination outside of the greater Auckland urban region either from the International or domestic terminals.

From the InterCity Fare Finder located on the left, type or select 'From' either 'Auckland International Airport' or 'Auckland Domestic Airport' and 'To' the destination you want to travel to.

Reservations for bus and coach travel within the greater Auckland urban region can not be made, as these services are local commuter services.
