The Starlighter overnight services features reclining seats with foot and head rests, individual reading lights and air conditioning controls, onboard toilet/washroom facility and two refreshment/comfort stops on route. Alternatively you can travel on the Starlighter Sleeper service with bunk beds on board. Top bunks are single hammock-style beds, with two bunks side by side underneath, divided by a privacy screen.

All InterCity regional, inter-regional buses and long distance coaches and Great Sights scenic travel and sightseeing coaches, have seamless 3G/4G mobile Wi-Fi access across all inter-regional, long distance and sightseeing routes within New Zealand.

Online ferry times, fares, passenger space availability and instant confirmation reservations are available for Cook Strait ferry services between Wellington in the North Island and Picton in the South Island.

There is also combined bus and ferry travel fares to or from Paihia (Bay of Islands), Auckland, Hamilton, Rotorua, Taupo, Palmerston North or Wellington to or from Nelson, Blenheim, Kaikoura and Christchurch, allowing you to make one reservation and travel on one ticket for the the destinations you want to travel from and to. These fares include bus and ferry travel between these destinations.

With
combined TranzAlpine train and scenic bus travel options and fares to choose from, you can make one reservation and travel on one fare from either Christchurch to Franz Josef or Christchurch to Franz Josef and Queenstown or from Queenstown to Franz Josef and Christchurch or Franz Josef to Christchurch.

You can book accommodation that is close to inter-regional and long distance coach terminals in Auckland, Hamilton, Paihia (Bay of Islands), Rotorua, Wellington, Nelson, Christchurch and Queenstown and near Franz Josef and Fox Glacier coach/bus stops and near Christchurch Railway Station for the TranzAlpine train services to and from Christchurch.

InterCity CoachIf you want to explore and see New Zealand's unique scenic beauty, there is a range of 'Book As You Go' bus, ferry travel and sightseeing passes, allowing you to travel at your own pace on the InterCity Coachlines and Great Sights national bus and coach networks that provides value for money travel.
